Challenge

Virtue, a gender non-specific intimate wear brand, launched into uncharted territory—a market where almost no brands successfully sell to all genders. The brand’s very existence is a statement supporting healthy and honest diversity in sexuality. We needed to create something that felt welcoming to all (“For every body”) while explaining the innovative V-strap customization system, and build to digital flows that made the product intuitive without requiring an in-person experience.

Process

We needed to play: I directed and shot with an intimacy coordinator who set up physical games with our models. The reward was imagery that communicated honest sexuality and community. To be fluent in translating product function digitally, we developed labeled illustrations and on-model photos showing strap positions and encouraged mixing and matching straps and buckle accessories via ecommerce UX. For special event campaigns, we learned from A/B/C tested landing pages with varying visuals and messaging, incorporating successful elements back into the core brand as we discovered what resonated.

Process

Impact

Virtue built 1,600+ organic Instagram followers and established itself through LGBTQ+ community events and a partner popup with Maison Ten. Media coverage included The Hollywood Reporter (Kristen Stewart wearing Virtue briefs) and sex-positive IG and podcast features, positioning the brand as both credible and culturally relevant.
