Arktct is a new AI platform that helps cloud sales professionals and solutions architects create technical proposals in a fraction of the time they previously needed. As a startup launching into a crowded market, they needed a brand that felt credible, polished and interesting without looking like every other AI startup. The goal was to strike a balance—technical enough for enterprise buyers and CTOs, but distinct in a sea of safe, generic tech logos.

I led brand strategy, art direction, and UX design for the Covalent Fashion product line. We wandered through multiple approaches to explaining carbon-negative technology before finding language that resonated with conscious consumers. We switched modes constantly—moving between scientific precision when coordinating with the lab team, accessibility when designing for consumers, and technical execution when building the blockchain verification system with developers.
We also needed to play with how to make complex science engaging: experimenting with animated flows, interactive diagrams, and video until we found something that educated without overwhelming. We committed to a unique verification system where each product's on-item code unlocked its specific origin story, production data, and lifecycle impact through interactive reports and video.

The brand helped Arktct make a strong first impression with investors and test adopters, contributing to ongoing successful seed funding before and during launch. The redesigned sales materials support their outreach efforts and help establish credibility as they enter the market.

We leaned into the “architect” concept in the name—clean lines, geometry, precision, structure.
